Abigail Cross, DO

Bingham – This August, staff of the Bingham Area Health Center are happy to welcome Dr. Abigail Cross to their professional healthcare team.

Cross earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Previously, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with Pre-Med Concentration from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, as well as her Clinical Medical Assistant Certification from Northeast Technical Institute. Cross’ wealth of medical experience includes research, publication, and teaching positions that have prepared her to take on a variety of challenges. Her background includes geriatric medicine within a home hospice setting, antibiotic resistance research, and both teaching and publication experience in the field of Osteopathic Medicine.

Cross shares, “I look forward to returning to Central Maine as I take the next step in my medical career. My osteopathic background has steered me to taking a holistic approach to medicine, and my residency experience has provided me with opportunities to work with a diverse patient population. I hope to offer a variety of services to my patients, and I am eager to bring my experience back to Bingham.”

Cross joins the existing Bingham clinical team – Physician Assistants, Alex Martocci and Cory Miller; Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Kelly Bell Bragg; and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Leah Agren.
