Alyssa Doucette, LMSW

Albion – This October, staff of the Lovejoy Health Center were happy to welcome Alyssa Doucette, LMSW, to their professional healthcare team.

Doucette earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Husson University. Doucette’s wealth of mental healthcare experience includes time spent in multiple settings, including pharmaceutical, pediatric, and school-based settings. We are certain that her wide range of experience and knowledge will be a wonderful addition to the Lovejoy Team.

Doucette shares, “I am excited to be joining the team at Lovejoy Health Center! I consider this a huge step forward on my journey in the mental health field, and I look forward to serving these small and close-knit communities, having grown up in a small Maine town myself.”

Doucette joins the existing Lovejoy clinical team — Doctors Dean Chamberlain, Daniel Keane, and Ann Schwink; Family Nurse Practitioner, Michelle Breen; Physician Assistants Diana Dearden and Nichole Johnston; and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Melanie Morin.

Founded in 1978, Lovejoy Family Health Center is part of HealthReach Community Health Centers — a private nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center consisting of twelve community health centers located across Central and Western Maine. Since 1975, HealthReach clinicians have delivered high-quality healthcare — inclusive of primary care, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, dental, and podiatric services — to residents from 9 of Maine’s 16 counties. To ensure access for everyone, HealthReach accepts Medicare, MaineCare, and major insurance providers. An Affordable Care Program is available to both uninsured and underinsured people. Assistance is available for applications to programs that help with your healthcare and medication costs — including enrollment support for Maine’s Health Insurance Marketplace.

The above is issued in furtherance of HealthReach Community Health Centers’ (HealthReach) federally funded health center project. This year, HealthReach received $4,815,606 in federal assistance, which is estimated as constituting 17.8% of project costs. Of total project costs for this year, HealthReach estimates 82.2% will be financed with non-governmental sources.
