WATERVILLE – Patrice M. Thibodeau, M.D., joined HealthReach Community Health Centers in July. She has more than 25 years of primary care experience serving patients of all ages. Dr. Thibodeau joins our team of covering clinicians, who provide services across multiple sites to ensure continuity of care in the communities we serve.
Dr. Thibodeau obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in Illinois. She completed her postdoctoral training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, New York. Dr. Thibodeau previously obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry, Sociology, and Biology at Bowdoin College. She has practiced primary care in the states of New York, Colorado, and Maine. Dr. Thibodeau has also held a number of departmental positions over the years, accumulating more than 20 years of teaching experience – particularly in graduate and postdoctoral medical studies.
Dr. Thibodeau enjoys canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking with her partner and two Vizsla dogs. She loves living in Carrabassett Valley, where there are so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Dr. Thibodeau says, “I am very much looking forward to returning to primary care – even if just on a per diem basis for now!”. She will be a tremendous asset to the HealthReach team and our communities.
